Bring in the Younger Generations!

ARTICLE -

“Inaccessible? Unfathomable? Not for me?” And what if the finest Bordeaux wines looked to make themselves more accessible to younger wine enthusiasts?
This is the idea behind Cos d’Estournel’s partnership with online media Le Bonbon to host a special event dedicated to younger generations on Saturday, April 1.

At a time when younger generations are increasingly moving away from wine, Cos d’Estournel is pursuing a new venture to create ties with tomorrow’s consumers.

64 wine neophytes will enjoy a ninety-minute tour of the vineyard and its unique gravity-flow cellars as they uncover some of the estate’s best-kept secrets.
Their visit will be followed by a tasting of three wines—G d’Estournel 2019, Pagodes de Cos 2015, and Cos d’Estournel 2012—to initiate them in the power of enchantment of Cos d’Estournel. All in all, it is an experience that will delight all those looking to get away from it all and this at a very reasonable price!

Just like Camille and Julien, the two young protagonists of the podcast On the Maharajah’s Trail, readers of Le Bonbon will have the opportunity to discover the singular realm of Cos d’Estournel.
From the estate’s majestic Door of Zanzibar and its pagodas to its terroir and its wines, they will be embarked upon a most exotic journey . . . a mere hour’s drive from Bordeaux!
