In a growing season that culminated in a series of intense meteorological events, the teams at La Mascaronne dedicate themselves to the vineyard throughout the year to ensure healthy growing conditions and bring the estate’s grapes to optimal maturity on the vine.

Looking more into details, the Grenache, central in the 2021 blending, offers great balance, managing to be both intense and fresh. This was achieved through several crucial steps: late pruning, which limited the effects of the frost observed at the beginning of April, a precise leaf thinning, allowing for concentration to take place during summer, and a harvest in 5 successive selections.

For its part, the Cinsault brings floral notes and freshness, thanks to a rigorous selection on its best terroirs, while the Vermentino, more present this year in the blend, lends it complexity and structure.

The 2021 vintage was promising from the very first tastings. Now blended and bottled, it confirms our expectations: great elegance and a seductive floral expression, lifted by freshness and balance.

With a pale pink hue and silver glints, the wine offers appealing aromas of jasmine, lemon and white peach.
The first sip stuns by its remarkable vivacity, underlined by mineral notes, typical of La Mascaronne terroir, as is the generous and fruity character of the Grenache.

Long and precise, the finish perfectly sums up Château La Mascaronne Rosé 2021: a complex and delectable wine, true reflection of its terroir, glimpsing the joyful warmer days and reunions with family and friends.
