The estate\u2019s owner Michel Reybier took a seat on an international jury of wine industry professionals whose mission was to select the most outstanding articles written about wine in 2019.
\nThe Awards are divided into six categories, each of which explores a different facet of writing about wine. At the end of the first round, twenty-five finalists were awarded a magnum of the iconic and delectable Pagodes de Cos. [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=”custom” el_width=”30″ accent_color=”#a30b34″][vc_custom_heading text=”The winners will partake in an unprecedented journey to Bordeaux in April 2019.” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_separator color=”custom” el_width=”30″ accent_color=”#a30b34″][vc_column_text]During the final round, the jury selected six winners: two from the United States (Xingyu Chen<\/a> for the Wine Image Award and Laura Donadoni<\/a> for the Public\u2019s Choice Award), one from Canada (Debbie Gordon<\/a> for the Wine & Technology Award), one from Russia (Anton Moiseenko<\/a> for the Wine Reporter Award), one from Spain (Fintan Kerr<\/a> for the Food & Wine Pairing Award) and one from Great Britain (James Flewellen<\/a> for the Wine Travel Award). The winners will partake in an unprecedented journey to Bordeaux in April 2019 to enjoy a fully immersive six-day experience of the \u201cEn Primeur\u201d week, during which they will visit estates and discover wines from the region\u2019s different appellations. They will also have the opportunity to go behind the scenes at Cos d\u2019Estournel and partake in a very special moment of the year, the presentation within the estate\u2019s celebrated pagodas of its exceptional 2018 vintage.
